Justin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor who has over ten years of experience working with adolescents, parents, and families in the midst of crisis. He also has extensive experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anger, anxiety, trauma, OCD, substance abuse, attachment issues, and parenting skills.

Justin provides counseling for individuals, families and groups; and utilizes a holistic approach to counseling that will focus on all aspects of the person’s life, including mental, physical, and spiritual struggles. Justin’s counseling style is very relational, non-judgmental, practical, and goal-oriented. Justin is trained in EMDR and works with clients who have experienced minor and major trauma. He also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to work alongside clients to help them make connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Additional methods of therapy he utilizes include dialectical, relational, and solution-focused therapy.

A California native, Justin graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with B.S. in Business and Marketing and then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth where he received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. After graduation he  made his way to Longview to work with at risk teens and has found an unexpected home here in East Texas.
