Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Her passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families has guided her career path. She brings a broad clinical background that includes work in residential treatment, multisystemic therapy in the community, and more than 16 years at a community mental health center.
Kimberly offers a trauma-informed, holistic approach to counseling. In addition to advanced education in play therapy, she is trained in trauma-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She provides individual, family, and group counseling. She has experience supporting clients of all ages navigating a variety of mental health and behavioral health needs.
Originally from the Texas Panhandle, Kimberly earned her B.A. in Psychology from Texas Tech University and her M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of North Texas, where she specialized in play therapy. She has called East Texas home since 2009.
