Our counselors can set up video or phone appointments through our HIPPA compliant telehealth software so that you can get the privacy and comfort you are looking for while meeting with a professional counselor.
Many clients have experienced the benefits of moving to telehealth services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Telephone and Video Teleheath can be effective options for therapy that provide you with more flexibility. At Renew Counseling Center there are two different therapy options:
- Video Therapy: Counseling sessions provided via video conferencing through our patient portal, and
- Telephone Counseling; Counseling sessions provided via telephone through our HIPPA complaint phone line.
There are many benefits of using telehealth with one of our Renew Counseling Therapists:
- It allows you to be more flexibility to schedule appointment times that works around you.
- You can meet with your counselor from anywhere in the State without physically coming into the office.
For Telehealth video appointments, we use a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform which allows us to keep your data secure and your calls anonymous. In addition the built in bank level encryption keeps your information safe.
What Do I Need to Start?
These are the are things you will need to start Telehealth Video Counseling:
- A computer, tablet or phone with a microphone and a camera.
- A room or space that provides a sense of privacy and no distractions.
- Internet with 1 megabit speed per second to insure a secure connection.
Here’s what you will need for Telehealth Phone Counseling:
- A telephone with good sound quality.
- A private place where you feel comfortable and focussed.
